Responsibility
- Provide patient counseling on medications, therapy plans, and over-the-counter products to optimize outcomes.
- Verify prescription accuracy and dispense medications per state and federal regulations.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff to maintain high-quality service standards.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, proper documentation, and ongoing quality assurance audits.
- Participate in medication therapy management, chronic disease management, and pharmacist-led clinics.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Oversee inventory management, controlled substances handling, and supplier relationships.
- Lead patient safety initiatives, poison control collaboration, and incident reporting as needed.
Qualification
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or active Pharmacist license in New York (NY).
- Minimum 2-3 years of clinical or retail pharmacy experience.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, interactions, and medication safety practices.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with pharmacy management software and basic data analysis skills.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to ethical practice, patient confidentiality, and regulatory compliance.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States and ability to pass background checks.
