As a Pharmacist, you will lead dispensing accuracy, medication safety, and high-quality patient counseling while collaborating with physicians and the wider health care team. Responsibility
- Provide comprehensive dispensing and clinical pharmacy services, ensuring accuracy and safety.
- Counsel patients on medication use, possible side effects, and interactions to optimize therapy.
- Oversee medication inventory management, procurement, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to optimize pharmacotherapy plans.
- Lead and develop the pharmacy staff, including technicians and interns.
- Monitor and improve adherence programs, vaccination services, and patient education initiatives.
- Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and adherence to all state and federal regulations.
Qualification
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited school.
- Active California Pharmacist license in good standing.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical or community pharmacy experience.
- Strong knowledge of drug interactions, dosing, contraindications, and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication, empathy, and patient service skills.
- Proficiency with pharmacy management systems and e-prescribing platforms.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred bilingual in English and Spanish; cross-cultural competency is a plus.
