In this role you will partner with physicians, manage dispensing accuracy, ensure regulatory compliance, oversee inventory, and implement patient care programs like Medication Therapy Management (MTM) and vaccination services.

Responsibility
- Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently, verify orders, and resolve discrepancies to ensure patient safety.
- Lead daily pharmacy operations, optimize workflow, and ensure compliance with HIPAA, DEA, and all applicable regulations.
- Supervise, coach, and schedule pharmacy staff; conduct performance reviews and support professional development.
- Provide high-quality patient counseling, MTM services, and immunization support to improve therapeutic outcomes.
- Manage inventory, purchasing, pricing, and insurance claim processes to minimize waste and shrinkage.
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to optimize medication therapy and patient outcomes.
- Implement process improvements and leverage pharmacy technology to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain rigorous quality assurance and safety protocols, including audits and incident reporting.
Qualification
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited school and active pharmacist license in Massachusetts.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in retail or hospital pharmacy; leadership or management experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations (HIPAA, DEA) and medication safety best practices.
- Excellent communication, teaching, and patient counseling skills with a patient-first mindset.
- Proficiency with pharmacy management systems (e.g., PioneerRx, QS1) and MS Office; ability to adapt to new technologies.
- Proven leadership and team-building abilities; capable of managing a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
- Immunization certification (or willingness to obtain) and commitment to expanding clinical services.
