NovaRx Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our high-volume retail store in Los Angeles, CA. This role supports pharmacists in dispensing medications, patient counseling, and insurance processing. You will engage with patients, ensure accuracy, maintain compliance, and contribute to a patient-first pharmacy experience.

Responsibility
- Accurately receive, verify, and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision.
- Prepare medications with correct labeling, dosage calculations, and patient instructions.
- Verify patient insurance, process claims, and communicate with insurers as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient profiles, confidentiality, and HIPAA compliance.
- Manage inventory, stock levels, and controlled substances in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide exceptional patient service; answer questions and offer counseling with pharmacist support.
- Assist with daily workflow to support a fast-paced, accurate pharmacy operation.
Qualification
- Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician program or equivalent; state licensing/registration where required.
- Current Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT) or active state registration.
- 1+ year of retail or clinical pharmacy experience preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of dispensing software, e-prescribing, and medication safety protocols.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to schedule needs, including evenings/weekends.
