NovaMind Institute is seeking a proactive Philosophy Content Editor to join our growing education team in Cambridge, MA. You will craft engaging philosophy content for undergraduate and continuing education audiences, blending scholarly rigor with accessible pedagogy.
As a key member of our editorial group, you will collaborate with faculty and subject matter experts to design modules on ethics, epistemology, logic, metaphysics, and related areas. You will ensure content aligns with learning outcomes, adheres to style guidelines, and is optimized for online delivery.

Responsibility
- Develop and edit philosophy course content for undergraduate and continuing education programs.
- Collaborate with faculty and subject matter experts to design modules on ethics, epistemology, logic, metaphysics, and related areas.
- Ensure content aligns with defined learning outcomes and is accessible to diverse learners.
- Manage editorial calendar, perform QA checks, and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Conduct literature reviews, verify citations, and maintain accuracy in APA/MLA style.
- Create assessments, rubrics, and learning activities that measure understanding and critical thinking.
- Optimize content for online delivery and search optimization while preserving scholarly rigor.
- Mentor junior writers and support a collaborative, inclusive editorial culture.
Qualification
- PhD in Philosophy or related field; or MA in Philosophy with 5+ years of demonstrated editorial or academic publishing experience.
- Strong expertise in ethics, logic, epistemology, and at least one area of metaphysics or political philosophy.
- Experience designing undergraduate or continuing education curricula and assessments.
- Excellent editing and writing skills with meticulous attention to detail; proficiency with APA/MLA citation styles.
- Familiarity with online learning platforms (LMS) and SEO best practices for educational content.
- Ability to work independently across time zones and collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Commitment to inclusive pedagogy, accessibility, and high scholarly standards.
- Strong communication, project management, and organizational skills.
