Responsibility
- Deliver engaging undergraduate and graduate philosophy courses across introductory logic, ethics, metaphysics, epistemology, and related areas.
- Design and continuously update rigorous, inclusive curricula and high-quality course materials aligned with program goals.
- Lead seminars, supervise student research projects, and provide mentorship to honors and thesis candidates.
- Conduct original philosophical research, publish findings, and contribute to the department's scholarly agenda.
- Assess student learning, provide constructive feedback, and promote inclusive teaching practices.
- Collaborate with colleagues on program development, curriculum mapping, assessment, and accreditation activities.
- Engage in outreach and public philosophy events to broaden access to philosophical ideas.
Qualification
- PhD in Philosophy or closely related field; outstanding scholarly potential or established publications.
- Proven excellence in teaching and curriculum design; experience with diverse student populations.
- Strong research interests in areas such as ethics, logic, metaphysics, and epistemology; active publication record preferred.
- Experience with course development, assessment strategies, and educational technology integration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborate across departments and disciplines.
