Global Nexus University invites applications for a full-time Philosophy Lecturer to join our Humanities Department in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses, contribute to curriculum development, and participate in scholarly activity aligned with the university’s mission to foster critical thinking and ethical leadership.

Responsibility
- Teach undergraduate courses in philosophy (ethics, logic, metaphysics, philosophy of mind, epistemology) and develop engaging syllabi.
- Design and deliver high-quality lectures and assessments, using inclusive teaching practices.
- Mentor and advise undergraduate majors, supervise student research and capstone projects.
- Lead curriculum development and contribute to program assessment and accreditation processes.
- Engage in scholarly activity: publish articles, present at conferences, and seek external funding where appropriate.
- Contribute to department, college, and university service, including committee work and community outreach.
- Participate in online or hybrid course delivery and leverage instructional technology.
Qualification
- PhD in Philosophy or terminal degree in related field by start date.
- Demonstrated excellence in undergraduate teaching with evidence (course evaluations, letters).
- Strong scholarly research record with publications in reputable journals.
- Ability to teach a broad range of philosophy courses and adapt to online/hybrid formats.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to mentor students from diverse backgrounds.
- Commitment to inclusive excellence and diversity in the classroom.
- Experience with curriculum development and program assessment.
- Willingness to participate in service roles within the department.
