Responsibility
- Develop and execute original research projects in ethics, epistemology, or logic with potential for high-impact publications.
- Publish in peer-reviewed journals and present findings at national and international conferences.
- Collaborate with faculty to design and teach undergraduate and graduate seminars.
- Mentor and supervise graduate student research, including thesis guidance and progress reviews.
- Contribute to grant applications and help manage research funding and budgets.
- Participate in departmental governance, seminars, and public philosophy outreach initiatives.
- Engage with interdisciplinary colleagues to explore cross-cutting themes in philosophy and related fields.
- Develop and deliver inclusive teaching materials that accommodate diverse learning styles.
Qualification
- PhD in Philosophy or a closely related field (or evidence of near completion) with a strong research trajectory.
- Documented track record of publications in ethics, epistemology, or logic and relevant subfields.
- Experience teaching at the university level and designing course curricula.
- Ability to secure or contribute to external research funding and grants.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and methodological rigor.
- Ability to collaborate in an inclusive, diverse academic environment and mentor students.
- Active engagement with contemporary philosophical discourse and public philosophy initiatives.
