Join Lumen Lens Studio, a premier photography studio in Los Angeles specializing in weddings, portraits, editorial, and commercial shoots. We are seeking a creative, client-focused Photographer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has a sharp eye, strong lighting skills, and a collaborative spirit.
In this full-time role, you will work on on-site shoots and studio sessions, delivering polished imagery from concept to final retouch. You will collaborate with stylists, clients, and post-production teams to ensure on-time delivery and exceptional quality.
Responsibility
- Create high-quality images for weddings, lifestyle, fashion, and corporate shoots in studio and on location.
- Lead lighting setup, camera operation, and shot composition; manage gear and backups.
- Collaborate with clients to understand brand and mood; translate concepts into visuals.
- Direct models and assistants; provide guidance on posing and styling.
- Post-process images using Lightroom and Photoshop; deliver color-accurate retouched images.
- Deliver final selects, color grading, and retouching within agreed timelines.
- Manage on-site workflow, client communication, and equipment maintenance.
Qualification
- 3+ years of professional photography experience, with a strong portfolio in weddings, portraits, or commercial work.
- Proficiency with lighting (strobes and continuous lights) and camera systems (DSLR/mirrorless).
- Solid understanding of composition, color, and storytelling through imagery.
- Experience with editing software such as Lightroom and Photoshop; skilled in retouching.
- Excellent communication and client service skills; ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Willingness to travel for shoots; valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Attention to detail and high standards for post-production delivery.
- Basic knowledge of prop styling or fashion coordination is a plus.
