Join Lumina Studio NYC, a premium photography studio specializing in fashion, beauty, and commercial imagery. We are seeking a talented Photographer to join our creative team in New York.
In this role, you will capture compelling imagery for campaigns, lookbooks, and on-brand content. You will collaborate with art directors, stylists, and clients to translate concepts into stunning visuals while maintaining brand standards and tight production schedules. You will also contribute to post-production by ensuring efficient workflows and delivering polished assets on deadline.

Responsibility
- Plan and execute high-quality shoots for campaigns, lookbooks, and events across fashion, portrait, and product categories.
- Collaborate with art directors, stylists, and clients to translate concepts into compelling visuals.
- Set up lighting, camera systems, backdrops, and props; optimize studio workflows for efficiency.
- Capture, organize, and deliver raw and retouched images that meet brand standards and deadlines.
- Perform color correction, editing, and retouching using Lightroom and Photoshop; manage color consistency.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and inventory camera gear and studio equipment.
- Assist with on-location shoots and client meetings as needed; travel may be required.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Photography or related field, or 3+ years professional experience in a commercial studio.
- Strong portfolio across multiple genres (fashion, portrait, product) demonstrating versatility and storytelling.
- Proficiency with DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lighting systems, and editing software (Lightroom, Photoshop); RAW workflow expertise.
- Excellent eye for composition, color, and detail; ability to adapt to creative direction and feedback.
- Experience with retouching, color grading, and delivering ready-to-publish assets.
- Strong communication, time management, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Willingness to travel for on-location shoots and occasional weekend assignments.
