Responsibility

  • Conduct comprehensive musculoskeletal assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Deliver manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, motor control retraining, and pain management strategies.
  • Monitor patient progress, document outcomes, and adjust plans to maximize recovery and function.
  • Collaborate with GPs, surgeons, and other allied health professionals to coordinate care.
  • Educate patients on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and self-management strategies.
  • Assist in clinic operations, scheduling, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Mentor junior staff and students, supporting knowledge sharing and clinical reasoning.
  • Engage in CPD activities and participate in community outreach programs to promote physiotherapy services.

Qualification

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Physiotherapist (Australia) or equivalent license for the region.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of clinical experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
  • Proven manual therapy skills and ability to design effective exercise programs.
  • Strong assessment, differentiation, and clinical reasoning abilities.
  • Excellent communication, empathy, and patient education skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to continuing professional development and evidence-based practice.
  • Proficiency with digital documentation systems and basic electrotherapy modalities is a plus.
