MoveWell Physiotherapy is seeking a dedicated Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary clinic in New York City. You will deliver evidence based care to a diverse patient base, focusing on musculoskeletal injuries and post operative rehabilitation. Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with musculoskeletal conditions to identify impairments and functional limitations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, modalities and activity modification.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust interventions, and document outcomes in the electronic health record system.
- Educate patients on injury prevention, home exercise programs and self management strategies to promote lasting recovery.
- Collaborate with physicians, surgeons and other therapists to optimize patient care and outcomes.
- Adhere to evidence based guidelines, maintain clinical standards, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to clinic trainings, mentorship programs and ongoing professional development opportunities.
Qualification
- Master's or Doctorate in Physiotherapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
- Current New York state license to practice as a Physiotherapist.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in orthopedic or sports rehabilitation.
- Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise prescription.
- Strong communication, empathy and patient education skills.
- CPR/First Aid certification and knowledge of safety protocols.
- Experience with electronic health records and outcome measurement tools.
