Responsibility

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with musculoskeletal conditions to identify impairments and functional limitations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, modalities and activity modification.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust interventions, and document outcomes in the electronic health record system.
  • Educate patients on injury prevention, home exercise programs and self management strategies to promote lasting recovery.
  • Collaborate with physicians, surgeons and other therapists to optimize patient care and outcomes.
  • Adhere to evidence based guidelines, maintain clinical standards, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to clinic trainings, mentorship programs and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualification

  • Master's or Doctorate in Physiotherapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
  • Current New York state license to practice as a Physiotherapist.
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in orthopedic or sports rehabilitation.
  • Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise prescription.
  • Strong communication, empathy and patient education skills.
  • CPR/First Aid certification and knowledge of safety protocols.
  • Experience with electronic health records and outcome measurement tools.
