Responsibility
- Perform comprehensive musculoskeletal assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver hands-on manual therapy and prescribe therapeutic exercise programs
- Monitor progress, re-evaluate goals, and document outcomes in the EMR
- Educate patients on injury prevention, self-management, and home exercise programs
- Collaborate with physicians, podiatrists, and other health professionals in a multidisciplinary team
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based clinical guidelines
- Supervise students or junior staff as needed and participate in clinic training sessions
- Maintain compliance with AHPRA regulations and clinic policies
Qualification
- Bachelor or Master of Physiotherapy and current registration with AHPRA
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy
- Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and individualized exercise prescription
- Strong communication, empathy, and patient-centered care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management
- Knowledge of outcome measures and evidence-based practice
- CPR and First Aid certification; commitment to ongoing professional development
- Desire to mentor junior staff or students and contribute to clinic culture
