Responsibility
- Assess and diagnose patients' musculoskeletal conditions through comprehensive clinical examinations and functional testing.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.
- Document findings and progress in electronic medical records, ensuring compliance with privacy standards.
- Educate patients and families to support adherence and self-management.
- Collaborate with GPs, trainers, and other health professionals to coordinate care and referrals.
- Monitor outcomes and adjust plans to optimize recovery timelines and goals.
- Participate in clinic quality improvement and ongoing professional development sessions.
- Offer telehealth consultations when appropriate to extend access to care.
Qualification
- Registered Physiotherapist with AHPRA in Australia and eligible to practice in Victoria.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited program.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical musculoskeletal physiotherapy experience (preferred).
- Strong manual therapy skills and proficient exercise prescription.
- Excellent clinical reasoning, communication, and patient education abilities.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development.
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team; flexible schedule and weekend availability preferred.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification and professional indemnity insurance coverage.
