Responsibility
- Perform comprehensive MSK assessments and establish evidence-based treatment plans.
- Deliver individual and group rehabilitation sessions, including manual therapy and exercise prescription.
- Utilize modalities (e.g., electrotherapy) and advanced techniques to reduce pain and improve function.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust plans, and document outcomes in the EMR system.
- Educate patients on self-management, injury prevention, and return-to-work strategies.
- Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other health professionals.
- Participate in clinic quality improvement and patient satisfaction initiatives.
- Contribute to a positive, patient-centered care environment.
Qualification
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or eligible for licensure in Ontario (COTO/CPA).
- Current registration and full license to practice physiotherapy in Ontario.
- Minimum 2-3 years of post-licensure MSK experience preferred.
- Strong manual therapy skills and evidence-based approach to care.
- Excellent communication, empathy, and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- CPR/AED certification; willingness to maintain ongoing professional development.
- Knowledge of EMR systems and documentation standards.
