Responsibility
- Perform comprehensive musculoskeletal assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver explicit hands-on manual therapy, exercise prescription, and education to optimize function.
- Monitor patient progress using objective measures and adjust plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with doctors, therapists, and administrative staff to coordinate care.
- Educate patients on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and self-management strategies.
- Document all treatments accurately in electronic medical records and ensure data integrity.
- Participate in clinic quality improvement initiatives and clinical governance.
- Contribute to student and new-grad mentorship and clinical training sessions.
Qualification
- Degree in Physiotherapy and current registration with the relevant regulatory body (e.g., AHPRA in Australia).
- Min 2 years of clinical experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
- Strong manual therapy skills and exercise prescription expertise.
- Demonstrated proficiency with outcome measures and clinical reasoning.
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities, with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to continuing professional development and evidence-based practice.
