Responsibility
- Assess and diagnose musculoskeletal conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and gait training as indicated.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust rehabilitation plans, and document outcomes in our electronic medical records system.
- Educate patients on injury prevention, self-management strategies, and return-to-activity goals.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care and appropriate referrals.
- Contribute to clinic quality improvement initiatives and maintain high standards of patient satisfaction.
- Support supervision or mentoring of junior therapists or students when available.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and clinical governance activities.
Qualification
- Registered Physiotherapist with AHPRA (or equivalent) and current unrestricted practice.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical outpatient physiotherapy experience.
- Strong manual therapy, movement assessment, and rehabilitation planning skills.
- Excellent communication and empathetic patient care abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team; strong organizational skills.
- Experience with outcome measures, progress tracking, and evidence-based practice.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.
- First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
