Responsibility
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and formulate individualized treatment plans based on best evidence.
- Deliver a wide range of treatments including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and electrical modalities as indicated.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and document outcomes in the electronic medical record.
- Provide patient education on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and self-management strategies.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize rehabilitation and return-to-work goals.
- Demonstrate strong clinical reasoning and ensure adherence to professional guidelines and safety standards.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to clinic-wide quality improvement initiatives.
Qualification
- Licensed Physiotherapist in Ontario or eligible for licensure with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
- Minimum 2-3 years of clinical experience in orthopedics, sports, or neuromuscular rehab.
- Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise prescription.
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills with excellent clinical reasoning.
- Excellent communication and patient education skills; ability to build rapport with diverse patient populations.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development.
