Responsibility

  • Assess patients through comprehensive subjective and objective examinations to determine functional status and goals.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans grounded in contemporary evidence-based practice.
  • Deliver manual therapy, soft tissue techniques, and joint mobilizations as appropriate to restore mobility and reduce pain.
  • Prescribe and supervise therapeutic exercise programs to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and function.
  • Educate patients on pain management, injury prevention, and self-management strategies.
  • Monitor progress, document outcomes, and adjust treatment plans accordingly in collaboration with the care team.
  • Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and other clinicians to optimize patient outcomes and ensure seamless care.

Qualification

  • Bachelor of Physiotherapy or equivalent; eligible for registration with AHPRA (Australia).
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical physiotherapy experience with musculoskeletal and sports injury focus.
  • Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in evidence-based rehabilitation protocols.
  • Excellent communication, empathy, and ability to educate patients effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing clinical team.
  • Experience with electronic medical records and outcome measures (eg, SPADI, DASH) is preferred.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.
  • Current AHPRA registration and valid work rights in Australia.
