Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing re-assessments using objective outcome measures.
- Design and implement evidence-based rehabilitation programs for acute and chronic conditions.
- Deliver manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, gait training, and patient education with effective home exercise programs.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, and fitness staff to optimize patient outcomes.
- Document progress, adjust care plans, and maintain accurate electronic health records.
- Provide motivational coaching and education to empower patients in their recovery journey.
- Contribute to clinic quality improvement initiatives and participate in professional development opportunities.
Qualification
- Bachelor or Master degree in Physiotherapy or Doctor of Physiotherapy; current AHPRA registration.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in orthopedics or sports physiotherapy (highly preferred).
- Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in evidence-based exercise prescription.
- Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills; ability to motivate patients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team; strong time management.
- Experience with electronic medical records and standard physiotherapy assessment tools.
