Jacobs is seeking a skilled Piping Engineer to join our team in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila. This full-time role is ideal for engineers who enjoy leading piping design on a variety of projects, from greenfield to brownfield. The role offers opportunities to serve as Lead Piping Engineer on smaller projects or as Sub-Lead on larger initiatives, guiding technical direction, delivering high-quality drawings, and ensuring safety and compliance from conception through construction. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to transform process requirements into robust piping systems while mentoring junior engineers and supporting professional growth.
As a Piping Engineer, you will develop and review P&IDs, isometrics, and piping datasheets, perform pipe stress analyses, and coordinate with process, mechanical, civil, and electrical disciplines. You will ensure adherence to international codes such as ASME B31.3 and API standards, as well as client standards, and you will contribute to design reviews, risk assessments, and QA/QC programs. You will produce technical documentation, participate in field surveys, and provide construction and commissioning support. This role also emphasizes communication, collaboration, and proactive problem-solving to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective piping solutions on schedule.

Responsibility
- Lead piping design and layout for assigned projects, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence
- Develop and review P&IDs, piping isometrics, equipment specifications, and datasheets
- Conduct pipe stress analysis and supports selection using industry-standard tools
- Ensure compliance with ASME B31.3, API standards, and client codes
- Collaborate with process, mechanical, civil, and electrical teams to optimize piping systems
- Mentor and coach junior engineers, review deliverables, and support technical training
- Support project execution through document control, design reviews, and constructability input
- Provide field support during construction, commissioning, and startup as needed
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
- 5-12 years of piping engineering experience in EPC, oil and gas, or chemical sectors
- Proficiency with P&ID design, isometrics, and piping layout software such as AutoCAD Plant 3D, CAESAR II, or AutoPIPE
- Strong knowledge of ASME B31.3 and API standards; experience with piping codes and standards
- Experience with pipe supports, material specifications, and equipment data sheets
- Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to mentor teams and coordinate across disciplines
- Project management experience and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Professional Engineering license or equivalent, with eligibility for local licensure
