Waymaker Technologies Corp. is seeking a skilled Piping Technician to join our growing engineering team in Angeles City, Pampanga. This role offers a competitive PHP 20,000 - 24,000 per month salary based on experience, exposure to high impact industrial projects, and clear opportunities for career growth within a fast expanding company.
The Piping Technician will support the installation, maintenance and inspection of piping systems across our projects. You will collaborate with engineers, welders and fabrication crews to ensure safe, efficient and reliable systems that meet quality and safety standards.
What you will do
- Read and interpret piping isometrics, drawings and P&IDs
- Assist in the cutting, threading, bending, and joining of piping components using appropriate tools and equipment
- Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems including supports, fixtures, valves, flanges, and fittings
- Perform tests and inspections such as pressure and leak tests and document results to ensure system integrity
- Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and fitters to plan and execute installation schedules
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality control, and company standards during fieldwork
- Maintain accurate inventory of piping materials and tools and report shortages as needed
- Support commissioning and start-up activities on projects as required
What we look for
- High school diploma or technical training; relevant trade certification is a plus
- 2+ years of experience in piping installation, mechanical fabrication, or related field
- Ability to read blueprints, P&IDs, and piping specifications; basic understanding of ASME codes is a plus
- Proficiency with hand and power tools used in piping and welding support; basic welding and fabrication skills preferred
- Strong problem solving, measurement and alignment skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork; ability to work on-site at industrial facilities
- Willingness to work overtime, travel to project sites, and adhere to safety protocols
- Physically capable of performing fieldwork in industrial environments
