Join Our Private Nursery Team as a Playschool/Nursery Teacher
We are seeking a patient and nurturing Playschool/Nursery Teacher who is creative, energetic, and deeply passionate about early childhood education. In this role, you will nurture toddlers and young children, helping them develop foundational cognitive, social, and emotional skills in a warm, inclusive classroom environment.
As a member of our Private Advertiser team, you will design and deliver developmentally appropriate activities that promote exploration, language development, early literacy, and basic numeracy through play-based learning. You will build strong partnerships with families, celebrate every child’s unique journey, and maintain a joyful routine that blends structured learning with meaningful free play. Responsibility
- Plan and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum for toddlers and preschoolers.
- Create a warm, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and independent learning.
- Monitor and document each child’s progress, communicating observations to parents and the school team.
- Support social-emotional development through positive guidance and inclusive practices.
- Lead daily routines including circle time, story time, snack, and rest periods with consistency and care.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate play-based learning across subjects and activities.
- Maintain classroom safety, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance, adhering to health and safety policies.
- Engage families through regular updates, parent-teacher meetings, and community events.
Qualification
- Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field; teaching license is a plus.
- Experience teaching toddlers or preschoolers in a licensed setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, parents, and staff.
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices and play-based learning.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for young children.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to a dynamic classroom.
- Commitment to child safety, health, and inclusive education.
