Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive policy research and quantitative analysis on assigned issues
- Draft briefing documents, policy memos, and white papers for clients and internal teams
- Engage with lawmakers, agencies, coalitions, and stakeholders to gather perspectives
- Monitor legislative developments and prepare timely, informed updates
- Translate complex findings into executive summaries and recommendations
- Collaborate with communications teams to craft persuasive policy narratives
- Support project management and contribute to proposal writing for new engagements
- Present findings in meetings, hearings, and public forums
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in political science, public policy, economics, or related field; master's preferred
- 3-6 years of policy research or government affairs experience
- Strong data analysis skills including quantitative methods and data visualization
- Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to simplify complex topics
- Experience with legislative processes, regulatory frameworks, and government stakeholders
- Proven relationship-building and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Proficient in MS Office, data tools, and policy research databases
- Demonstrated ethical judgment and ability to manage sensitive information
