Join the CivicBridge Policy Institute as a Policy Analyst and help shape public conversation on key legislation and governance issues. You will conduct rigorous research, synthesize complex data, and translate findings into actionable policy recommendations for policymakers, stakeholders, and the public.

Responsibility
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative policy research on priority issues such as housing, transportation, and economic development.
- Design and implement research methods, including literature reviews, stakeholder interviews, and policy analyses.
- Analyze legislative and regulatory proposals, assess impacts, and prepare briefing papers for leadership and clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop evidence-based policy recommendations and messaging strategies.
- Prepare clear, compelling reports and data visualizations for diverse audiences, including policymakers, media, and the public.
- Engage with external stakeholders, including government agencies, nonprofits, and industry groups, to gather insights and build coalitions.
- Monitor and summarize policy developments, trends, and public sentiment to inform strategic planning.
- Support project management tasks, including timeline tracking, stakeholder coordination, and deliverable quality control.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in public policy, political science, economics, or a related field; master's preferred.
- 3+ years of policy research, legislative analysis, or public affairs experience.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills; experience with statistical software and data visualization tools a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with a track record of producing concise policy briefs and reports.
- Ability to translate complex ideas into accessible language for diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated project management, organization, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience engaging with government agencies, think tanks, or advocacy organizations preferred.
- Authorized to work in the United States; willingness to work in Washington, DC in-office or hybrid schedule.
