Responsibility
- Conduct in-depth policy research and impact assessments across assigned issue areas.
- Track and analyze federal and state legislation, regulatory proposals, and agency rules.
- Prepare briefing materials, policy memos, white papers, and data-driven briefs for leadership and external partners.
- Engage with policymakers, coalitions, think tanks, and other stakeholders to advance policy goals.
- Develop policy briefs, talking points, and testimony materials for meetings and hearings.
- Translate complex policy information into accessible messages for diverse audiences and media.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support advocacy campaigns and communications strategy.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Law, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 4+ years of policy analysis, legislative research, or government affairs experience.
- Strong research methodology, data analysis, and ability to translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience with public speaking and testimony.
- Proven experience with stakeholder outreach and coalition building.
- Proficiency with policy databases, legislative tracking tools, and data visualization (e.g., Excel, Tableau).
