Capitol Insight Group is seeking a meticulous Policy Analyst to join our fast-paced team dedicated to shaping thoughtful public policy. You will translate complex data into actionable insights for policymakers, coalitions, and clients across the political spectrum. This role offers exposure to legislative processes, research design, and stakeholder engagement in a collaborative environment.

Responsibility
- Conduct rigorous policy research and regression analysis to inform legislative decisions.
- Monitor, summarize, and synthesize public policy developments at the federal and local levels.
- Prepare policy briefs, white papers, and testimony-ready materials for clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop evidence-based recommendations.
- Engage with policymakers, researchers, and advocacy organizations to gather inputs.
- Design and manage research projects, including data collection, coding, and quality control.
- Present findings clearly through dashboards, reports, and presentations to non-technical audiences.
- Support client-facing engagements and contribute to proposal development and grant reporting.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Economics, or related field; master's preferred.
- 2+ years of policy analysis, research, or government affairs experience in a professional setting.
- Strong quantitative skills and experience with data analysis tools (Excel, R, Python, or Stata).
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to present complex ideas concisely.
- Familiarity with legislative processes, regulatory affairs, and public sector stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adhere to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong ethics, discretion, and commitment to high-quality work product.
- Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship (if applicable).
