Responsibility

  • Conduct rigorous policy research on assigned issues, synthesizing findings into concise briefs and memos.
  • Monitor legislative developments, regulatory actions, and political dynamics to anticipate policy shifts.
  • Draft policy papers, issue briefs, briefing notes, and client-ready materials with clarity and precision.
  • Collaborate with communications, research, and government affairs teams to shape policy positions and messaging.
  • Engage with external stakeholders, including lawmakers, think tanks, NGOs, and industry groups, to gather insights and build coalitions.
  • Present findings to internal teams and clients, translating complex data into actionable recommendations.
  • Support project management, research design, and quality control to ensure timely, accurate deliverables.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Economics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 3+ years of policy research, government affairs, or public-sector experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; ability to translate complex analysis into clear briefs.
  • Solid understanding of the U.S. legislative process and policy landscape in DC.
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools (Excel) and comfort with data visualization; experience with R or Python is a plus.
  • Excellent organization and time-management; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
