We seek a motivated Policy Analyst to turn complex data and political developments into clear, actionable insights that inform policy decisions, media coverage, and external stakeholders.
In this role, you will collaborate with researchers, communications professionals, and policymakers to deliver timely analysis on domestic politics, governance, and public policy reform.
Responsibility
- Conduct policy research and analysis on domestic politics, governance, and reform issues.
- Draft policy briefs, memos, and legislative summaries for senior leadership, committees, and external partners.
- Monitor political developments, regulatory proposals, and data trends affecting public policy.
- Translate complex research into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical audiences.
- Present findings in internal briefings, public events, and stakeholder meetings.
- Collaborate with researchers, communications teams, and external experts to develop evidence-based policy positions.
- Maintain and curate policy databases, literature reviews, and issue briefs; support grants and project proposals.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in political science, public policy, economics, or a related field; master’s preferred.
- 3+ years of policy analysis experience in government, think tanks, nonprofits, or political campaigns.
- Strong research methods, data interpretation, and quantitative analysis skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to distill complex ideas for diverse audiences.
- Proficiency with policy research tools, databases, and MS Office; familiarity with R or Python is a plus.
- Experience with stakeholder engagement, coalition-building, and cross-partisan collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
