Responsibility
- Conduct rigorous policy research and analysis on domestic political issues across federal, state, and local levels.
- Monitor legislative activity, track policy developments, and prepare timely briefings for senior leadership.
- Develop data visualizations and dashboards to illustrate trends and policy implications.
- Draft policy memos, briefs, opinions, and testimony-ready materials for diverse audiences.
- Collaborate with Communications, Government Affairs, and Research teams to shape policy messaging.
- Engage with external stakeholders, researchers, and policymakers to gather insights and build coalitions.
- Assist with project management, grant reporting, and program evaluation as needed.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Economics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 3+ years of policy analysis, government affairs, or research experience in a political environment.
- Strong research methods (qualitative and quantitative); familiarity with econometrics or data analysis tools is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to translate complex information for non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and advanced Excel.
- Solid understanding of federal and local policy processes, regulations, and political dynamics in Washington, DC.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
