Responsibility

  • Conduct rigorous policy research and data analysis on legislative and regulatory issues affecting clients and stakeholders.
  • Produce briefing memos, issue briefs, policy summaries, and comprehensive research reports.
  • Monitor policy developments, track bills, hearings, and regulatory changes at the federal and state levels.
  • Collaborate with communications, government affairs, and analytics teams to translate research into actionable guidance.
  • Present findings clearly to clients, executives, and public audiences; develop compelling visuals and slide decks.
  • Support advocacy and public affairs initiatives with evidence-based insights and targeted messaging.
  • Design and maintain research datasets, perform qualitative and quantitative analysis, and ensure data integrity.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in political science public policy economics or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • 2-5 years of policy research or legislative affairs experience in a consulting firm think tank or government setting.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with data analysis tools such as Excel R or Python is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft clear policy briefs.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with the U S policy landscape and DC regulatory environment; security clearance not required.
