We are seeking a talented Portrait & Commercial Photographer who can capture authentic moments, execute high-quality lighting setups, and deliver polished images under tight deadlines. What you’ll do:
- Lead on shoots from concept to delivery, including planning, lighting, framing, and direction.
- Collaborate with clients, stylists, makeup artists, and editors to translate briefs into compelling visuals.
- Set up and operate studio lighting, backdrops, and camera systems for in-studio and on-location shoots.
- Process and color-correct images using Lightroom, Photoshop, and Capture One; deliver retouched assets across multiple formats.
- Manage post-production workflow, file organization, backups, and file delivery to clients.
- Maintain equipment inventory, manage gear maintenance, and oversee on-site safety.
- Uphold brand consistency and creative standards while meeting project timelines.
- Provide mentorship and collaborate with junior photographers and crew to elevate team output.
Responsibility
- Lead on shoots from concept to delivery, including planning, lighting, framing, and direction.
- Collaborate with clients, creative directors, stylists, and editors to translate briefs into compelling visuals.
- Execute high-quality studio and on-location photography with expert lighting setups.
- Manage post-production workflow: culling, retouching, color grading, and deliverables in multiple formats.
- Maintain professional studio standards, equipment, and on-site safety; manage budgets and timelines.
- Provide creative input for shoot concepts, mood boards, and storylines.
- Coordinate metadata, rights, licensing, and delivery to clients and platforms.
- Mentor junior photographers and support staff as needed.
Qualification
- Strong portfolio across portraits, fashion, and commercial photography demonstrating storytelling ability.
- 3+ years of professional photography experience in studios and on location.
- Proficiency with Canon/Nikon/Sony systems; advanced knowledge of lighting (strobes, modifiers, continuous lights).
- Expertise in Lightroom, Photoshop, Capture One; strong retouching and color management skills.
- Excellent communication, organization, and project management; ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of licensing, usage rights, model releases, and copyright considerations.
- Bachelor’s degree in photography or related field preferred but not required; a strong portfolio can substitute.
- Willingness to travel for shoots if required and ability to work occasional evenings or weekends.
