As the POS Head, you will collaborate with sales, operations, and finance to drive operational efficiency and superior customer experiences. You will monitor POS performance metrics, implement process improvements, manage inventory reconciliation, and ensure that all transactions are processed with accuracy and integrity. Your leadership will empower frontline staff to deliver consistent service levels, resolve issues quickly, and communicate effectively with dealers and customers.

In this role you will also champion training programs for POS operators, establish service standards, and implement reporting dashboards that provide actionable insights to senior management. You will ensure compliance with company policies, security standards, tax and regulatory requirements, and risk management related to cash handling and payments. Responsibility
- Lead and supervise all day-to-day POS operations across the Samarinda dealer network and customer base.
- Optimize checkout processes, cash handling, and payment reconciliation to ensure accuracy and speed.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate POS frontline staff; set performance targets and shift schedules.
- Monitor POS performance metrics (throughput, uptime, error rates) and prepare weekly reports for leadership.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements; manage cash-related risk.
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Finance to align POS activities with business goals; manage dealer and partner relationships.
- Drive process improvements and technology upgrades; evaluate new POS software/devices and manage vendor relationships.
Qualification
- 5+ years of experience in POS or retail operations management; leadership experience required.
- Proven ability to manage, train, and motivate a frontline team; strong people management skills.
- Solid understanding of payment processing, POS systems, and cash handling best practices.
- Excellent communication in Indonesian; proficient English is a plus; ability to liaise with dealers and customers.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance metrics and drive improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
