Join the Cambridge Institute for Advanced Studies as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist in Computational Neuroscience. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects at the intersection of neuroscience, machine learning, and computational modeling.

Responsibility
- Design, implement, and validate computational models of neural circuits using Python and high-performance computing resources.
- Analyze large-scale neural datasets (electrophysiology, imaging) to extract meaningful metrics and test hypotheses.
- Collaborate with experimental groups to translate findings into testable predictions and new experiments.
- Develop reproducible data analysis pipelines, including version control and documentation.
- Prepare and contribute to high-impact manuscripts and conference presentations.
- Mentor graduate students and junior researchers; contribute to grant writing and project planning.
- Present research outcomes in seminars and participate in the institute's scholarly activities.
Qualification
- PhD in Neuroscience, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field at time of hire.
- Strong programming skills in Python; experience with MATLAB or Julia is a plus.
- Experience with neural data analysis, statistical methods, and machine learning approaches.
- Proficiency with Linux environments, HPC workflows, and version control (Git).
- Excellent scientific communication and collaborative skills; track record of publications.
- Ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams and manage multiple tasks.
- Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, and commitment to open science and reproducibility.
