Join The Supreme HR Advisory as a Primary School Enrichment Teacher specializing in Math and Science. This role focuses on afterschool care delivered to primary students in the Central Region, guiding learners from Primary 1 to 5 to complete daily homework and deepen conceptual understanding through engaging, hands-on activities.
As an Afterschool Care Teacher, you will design and deliver stimulating lessons that reinforce core mathematical concepts and scientific inquiry. Location: Central Region, with after-school hours that align with the school calendar. You will work closely with a compassionate, experienced team to deliver consistent, high-quality enrichment that complements classroom learning.
Responsibility
- Plan and deliver engaging enrichment lessons in mathematics and science for Primary 1–5 students, incorporating real-world applications and hands-on activities.
- Facilitate after-school care sessions to support homework completion and concept reinforcement across core subjects.
- Assess student progress, track learning outcomes, and provide constructive feedback to students and parents/guardians.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and adapt activities for varying ability levels.
- Maintain a positive, orderly learning environment with clear behavior expectations and safety protocols.
- Prepare and update age-appropriate teaching materials, experiments, and assessment tools.
- Collaborate with teachers, coordinators, and parents to align enrichment activities with curriculum goals and school values.
- Promote curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving through inquiry-based learning and hands-on experiments.
Qualification
- Diploma or degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, or a related field; teaching certification is a plus.
- Experience delivering Math and Science content to primary school students; familiarity with the Singapore Primary Curriculum is preferred.
- Passion for STEM education and ability to spark curiosity in young learners.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Proven classroom management abilities and a student-centered teaching approach.
- Creative and organized with the ability to design engaging lessons and activities.
- Commitment to child safety, welfare, and inclusive education; first aid or safeguarding certification is a plus.
- Proactive team player with willingness to collaborate in a fast-paced school environment.
