Responsibility
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons across primary grade levels
- Create inclusive learning environments that meet diverse student needs and backgrounds
- Assess student progress using a range of formative and summative methods and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and families to support student learning and wellbeing
- Establish clear classroom routines, behavior expectations, and a safe, welcoming environment
- Integrate technology and hands-on activities to enhance understanding and application of concepts
- Differentiate instruction and provide scaffolds to support learners at various levels
- Contribute to curriculum development, assessment design, and school-wide initiatives
Qualification
- Bachelor of Education or equivalent primary education degree
- Current teaching registration or credential in Australia
- Minimum 2 years of classroom teaching experience (primary)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
- Strong knowledge of child development and inclusive education practices
- Proven ability to differentiate instruction and monitor progress
- Positive classroom management and a commitment to student wellbeing
- Passion for fostering a love of learning and curiosity in young learners
