Responsibility
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons for KS1 and early KS2, aligned to the national curriculum.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and abilities.
- Assess student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes well-being and respect.
- Collaborate with colleagues on planning, assessment, and school-wide initiatives.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress and next steps.
- Utilize technology and interactive learning resources to enhance teaching.
- Protect the safety and welfare of students and uphold safeguarding policies.
Qualification
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent professional qualification.
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant subject area.
- Experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably KS1/KS2.
- Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, parents, and staff.
- Proven ability to differentiate instruction and support diverse learners.
- Commitment to safeguarding, equality, and inclusion policies.
- Proactive team player with reflective practice mindset.
