Responsibility
- Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons for primary school students across core subjects
- Assess and monitor student progress using formative and summative assessments
- Create a positive classroom environment that promotes respect, safety and collaboration
- Adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs including SEND
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and cross grade projects
- Engage with parents and carers through informative updates and meetings
- Utilize digital tools and resources to enhance learning outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to school wide initiatives
Qualification
- Recognised Bachelor of Education or equivalent teaching qualification
- Eligible to obtain teacher registration in New South Wales
- Minimum 2 years classroom experience in primary education
- Strong knowledge of the NSW syllabus and literacy and numeracy programs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, parents and staff
- Proven classroom management skills and a positive, student centered approach
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice
