Bright Futures Academy invites a motivated Primary School Teacher to join our dynamic, forward-thinking school in Melbourne. You will plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons for students in Grades 1β6, cultivate a positive classroom culture, and collaborate with families and specialists to support each childβs growth.

Responsibility
- Plan and deliver well-structured, differentiated lessons aligned with the Australian Curriculum for Grades 1β6.
- Foster an inclusive, safe, and engaging classroom environment that supports social and emotional learning.
- Assess student progress using diverse assessment methods and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design cross-curricular units and engage in ongoing professional development.
- Partner with families to support student learning goals and communicate progress clearly.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies to enhance student engagement.
- Maintain high standards of classroom management, safety, and student wellbeing.
Qualification
- Bachelor of Education (Primary) or equivalent, with eligible teacher registration in Victoria (VIT) or ability to obtain
- Minimum 2 years of classroom teaching experience in a primary setting (new graduates considered with strong evidence of practicums)
- Strong knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and assessment practices
- Demonstrated classroom management and behaviour guidance skills
- Excellent communication with students, families, and colleagues
- Commitment to inclusion, differentiation, and supportive learning environments
- Proficiency with educational technology and data-informed instruction
- First aid certification is preferred
