Responsibility
- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons across core subjects including reading, writing, mathematics, and science.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs and ensure accessibility for all students.
- Establish and maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment with effective behavior support.
- Use data and formative assessment to monitor progress and inform planning.
- Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and families to support student learning and wellbeing.
- Integrate technology and hands-on resources to enhance engagement and outcomes.
- Provide timely feedback and maintain accurate records of student progress and achievements.
- Contribute to school-wide initiatives and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualification
- Bachelor of Education (Primary) or equivalent teaching qualification recognized in Australia.
- Current teacher registration with the appropriate state regulatory body (e.g., Victorian Institute of Teaching).
- Demonstrated experience delivering primary education with a track record of student growth.
- Strong literacy and numeracy instruction skills with ability to differentiate for diverse learners.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and colleagues.
- Proficiency with ICT tools and digital learning platforms; ability to integrate technology into lessons.
- Commitment to child safety, inclusivity, and safeguarding practices.
