Responsibility
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons across core subjects aligned to the Australian Curriculum.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports student well-being and positive behavior.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and track progress with formative and summative assessments.
- Use data to inform planning, set goals, and provide timely feedback to students and families.
- Collaborate with specialist teachers, support staff, and families to support student learning and development.
- Implement evidence-based teaching strategies and integrate technology to enhance learning.
- Plan and run small-group interventions and enrichment activities to meet individual student needs.
- Contribute to school-wide initiatives, attend team meetings, and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualification
- Bachelor of Education (Primary) or equivalent, with current teaching certification for Australia.
- Demonstrated experience teaching in a primary school (school-based or practicum accepted).
- Strong knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and assessment practices.
- Excellent classroom management and ability to foster a respectful, inclusive environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and colleagues.
- Proficiency in differentiating instruction and using data to inform planning.
- Commitment to professional learning and reflective practice.
- Eligibility to work in Australia.
