Responsibility
- Plan and deliver high-quality literacy and numeracy lessons for students in Years 1-6
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs and abilities
- Assess student progress, provide timely feedback, and maintain accurate records
- Create an inclusive classroom culture that supports wellbeing and positive behaviour
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and cross-curricular initiatives
- Utilize data and assessment results to inform instruction and track growth
- Manage classroom routines and practise positive behaviour management strategies
- Engage families through regular communication and parent-teacher meetings
Qualification
- Bachelor of Education or recognized teaching qualification
- Valid teaching registration with the appropriate state authority (e.g., NSW)
- Minimum 2 years of primary teaching experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and NSW syllabus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction and integrate ICT effectively
- Commitment to child safety, inclusive education, and wellbeing
- Current First Aid/CPR and Working with Children Check (or state equivalent)
