Responsibility
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons for primary students in accordance with the Australian Curriculum
- Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to students and families
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and leadership on school-wide initiatives
- Integrate technology and hands-on learning activities
- Support the social and emotional development of students
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences and extracurricular programs
Qualification
- Bachelor of Education or equivalent teaching qualification recognised in Australia
- Currently registered or eligible for teacher registration with the relevant state/territory authority
- Experience teaching primary-age students (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and assessment practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, families, and colleagues
- Demonstrated classroom management and positive behavior support strategies
- Commitment to inclusion, differentiation, and creating an engaging learning environment
- Ability to use technology effectively to support teaching and learning
