Responsibility
- Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons for primary year levels, incorporating literacy and numeracy across the Australian Curriculum
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing timely feedback to students, families, and school leadership
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs, including EAL/D and students with additional needs
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture that supports wellbeing, resilience, and collaboration
- Collaborate with colleagues across year teams, specialists, and leaders to design cross-curricular learning experiences
- Incorporate technology and hands-on learning tools to enhance engagement and understanding
- Participate in school-wide initiatives, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions
Qualification
- Bachelor of Education or equivalent teaching qualification recognized in Australia
- Current NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) teacher accreditation or eligibility for registration
- Proven experience teaching in primary school across multiple year levels
- Strong knowledge of the Australian Curriculum, assessment principles, and reporting
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with families and colleagues
- Commitment to inclusive education and Differentiated Instruction
- Proficiency in classroom technology and digital learning tools
- Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and reflective practice
