Responsibility
- Plan and deliver differentiated, standards-aligned lessons across primary grades, in line with NSW syllabus requirements.
- Assess and monitor student progress using diverse formative and summative methods and maintain accurate records.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs, including gifted and talented programs and students requiring additional support.
- Foster an inclusive, safe, and supportive classroom environment that promotes student wellbeing and positive behavior.
- Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and families to set learning goals and share progress transparently.
- Integrate technology and interactive resources to enhance engagement and learning outcomes.
- Engage in school-wide programs, extracurricular activities, and professional development to contribute to a thriving school culture.
Qualification
- Bachelor of Education or equivalent, with eligibility for NSW teacher registration.
- Minimum two years of primary teaching experience or a strong practicum record.
- Proven ability to differentiate instruction and support diverse learners.
- Strong classroom management skills and a proactive approach to behavior support.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff.
- Proficiency in educational technology and data-driven instruction.
- First Aid certification and a commitment to child safety and welfare guidelines.
