Responsibility
- Create and deliver differentiated lesson plans aligned with state standards for primary grades (Grades 1-4).
- Assess student progress using diverse methods and maintain accurate records for reporting to families and administrators.
- Foster an inclusive classroom environment that supports social-emotional learning and positive behavior.
- Collaborate with grade-level teams, specialists, and families to plan and implement personalized learning goals.
- Establish and maintain a positive, orderly classroom routine and effective behavior management strategies.
- Integrate appropriate technology and hands-on activities to enhance understanding and engagement.
- Plan and supervise instructional activities, assessments, and enrichment opportunities.
- Participate in school-wide events, parent communications, and ongoing professional development.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field and valid teaching certification for Texas (or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting.
- Strong ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
- Proven classroom management skills and commitment to a safe, respectful learning environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration with families, colleagues, and specialists.
- Proficiency with educational technology and data-driven instruction.
- Commitment to inclusive education and ongoing professional development.
- Ability to pass background checks and comply with school policies.
