Responsibility
- Plan and deliver engaging daily lessons in alignment with the NSW or national curriculum for primary students
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and maintain an inclusive classroom
- Assess and monitor student progress using formative and summative methods
- Create a positive classroom culture that promotes respect, safety, and curiosity
- Collaborate with colleagues to design school-wide projects and interdisciplinary units
- Engage with parents and caregivers to communicate student progress and goals
- Support the use of technology and digital resources to enhance learning
- Participate in ongoing professional development and school improvement initiatives
Qualification
- Bachelor of Education or equivalent teaching qualification recognised for New South Wales
- Current teaching registration or eligible for registration with the NSW Education Standards Authority
- Experience teaching primary students in Kindy to Year 6
- Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction and assess diverse learners
- Excellent communication with students, parents, and staff
- Proficiency with digital learning tools and data-driven instruction
- Commitment to child safety and safeguarding standards
