Responsibility
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with national curriculum standards for KS1 and KS2.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners and set appropriate targets.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress using formative and summative methods, providing timely feedback.
- Promote a safe, inclusive classroom environment with strong behaviour management.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design cross-curricular projects and school improvement plans.
- Maintain accurate records, communicate with families, and participate in parent-teacher meetings.
- Support the school's safeguarding policies and promote pupil wellbeing.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
Qualification
- Qualified Teacher Status (UK) or equivalent
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
- Strong knowledge of early literacy and numeracy strategies
- Experience teaching in primary settings with a track record of progress
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting wellbeing
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and families
- Proficiency with technology and data for assessment
