Responsibility
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons for primary students across core subjects (English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies).
- Foster an inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learners, including EAL and students with special educational needs.
- Assess student progress using varied assessment strategies and provide timely feedback to students and families.
- Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and leaders to design and implement differentiation and individualized learning plans.
- Establish consistent routines and positive behavior management aligned with school policies.
- Integrate technology and hands-on learning to enhance student engagement and achievement.
- Contribute to curriculum development, professional learning communities, and school events.
- Communicate regularly with families about student progress and opportunities for home learning.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Education or equivalent; teaching credential/license eligible for Singapore MOE registration or local authority.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of primary curriculum standards and assessment practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
- Demonstrated ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs.
- Proficiency in integrating technology and multimedia tools into lessons.
- Commitment to inclusive education, EAL support, and student well-being.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and contribute to a positive school culture.
