Responsibility
- Deliver engaging, standards-based lessons for grades K-5, aligning with curriculum goals.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and styles.
- Assess student progress using formative and summative methods and provide timely feedback.
- Manage an organized, positive learning environment that supports a consistent behavior framework.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, enrichment programs, and assessment strategies.
- Integrate technology and hands-on learning to foster inquiry and creativity.
- Maintain open communication with families through conferences, newsletters, and updates.
- Contribute to school-wide initiatives and participate in professional learning communities.
Qualification
- Bachelorβs degree in Education or a related field; teaching certificate or license preferred
- Recent teaching experience in elementary or primary grades
- Strong knowledge of age appropriate instructional strategies and assessment practices
- Demonstrated ability to differentiate instruction and support diverse learners
- Excellent classroom management and positive behavior strategies
- Effective communication with students, families, and colleagues
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice
- Proficiency with educational technology and digital learning tools
